Naomi brought 2 baby size quilts: tic-tac-toe in blue and birds or paradise in pink. Blue quilt was very busy to start with, so we chose turquoise for the top thread and square pattern for quilting. To add a twist bottom thread is red, so you can actually see what my part in it;)
Pink quilt is very lovely and simple. To play with the flower background I chose 3-leaf pattern and it highlights the elegance of the quilt. Thread is a red Egyptian cotton on the top and bottom.

Russian Quilt
I bought this quilt top from a Russian artist from Moscow and it was sitting in my trunk for a while. Finally it got its turn. I chose all over meandering in blue. Now it is all done and bound, it turned out great. I like the colors and overall presentation.

Playful kitties by Grace
Sorry, blog got stale. I cannot quilt and blog at the same time. I am glad that some people keep me on track.
Grace made this lovely pinwheel quilt with cat fabric for her daughter. We chose playful kitties pattern for the quilt and it worked out beautifully.

Dona's Quilt of Valor
I am still amazed at piecers of the Quilts of Valor. I am glad I volunteered. I get to work with so many lovely quilts. Dona pieced a nice and patriotic quilt with lots of different fabrics. I quilted it with burgundy thread and stars, stripes and hearts for our troops.
Nancy's Quilts of Valor
Busy times. Lot's of quilting and not enough time to blog. Nancy made 2 perfectly pieced quilts, she reminds me a lot of my friend Sharon. I don't know how she does it, but her corners match, her border is flat. I have a long way to go... So, I downloaded lovely star and tripe design from the Internet and made it into e2e design for one of the quilts. You can barely see it from the top because the thread that I chose is white, but it looks very patriotic in the back. I did not want to take anything away from the quilt itself, it is super nice and light. For the second quilt I chose to meander in burgundy thread, I think it turned lovely.

Quilt of Valor by Sara
Recently I have started volunteering with Quilts of Valor, this organization provides quilts to men and women in the military service. Sara pieced this wonderful yellow brick road quilt in red, white and blue. I chose dark red thread to blend in. Pattern for all over quilting I chose to be stars and zig-zags. It is a lovely quilt and I hope it will lift someone spirit.

Lisa's table runner
My friend Lisa recently lost her dog, Phoebe. Miriam decided to make her a table runner, so she will feel better. It was designed and executed in 1 day. Miriam put it together and came up with the quilting pattern. For quilting design Miriam chose Scotties and hearts executed in varigated thread.

Patty's quilt
Patty generously allowed me to finish her quilt. I picked burgundy thread to quilt the blocks and green for the border, hoping it would stand out. I quilted each block individually using one of the designs that came with my Qbot and very pretty feathers on the border. (Ignore date and time, camera was just doing it'swn thing)

Sharon's quilt
My friend Sharon is the best piecer ever, her corners match, her quilt is square, you got the picture... So she let me quilt one of her twin size quilts. And because she let me do whatever I wanted, I chose ivy and waves for all-over quilting. I was very pleased as how the quilt turned out (and Sharon was too:) )
