Here is the quilt I made for my friend Mike. His favorite colors are purple and brown. I do have to confess that brown and purple are not the colors I can think in, but after browsing a stack of quilting magazines I came across this mirror pattern that worked out great for fabrics in hand. Square meandering in purple compliments the quilt. This was a zero remnant pattern, I was very excited when I did not have any fabric left at the end. On the back I put a cozy flannel, it adds a nice touch to any lap size quilt.

Maan's Quilt
My husband finally got his own quilt!!! It is hard to believe, but it did happen. I was thrilled to present him with simple pin wheel quilt, which Miriam chose fabrics for. It took me a while to figure out how to incorporate the chevron fabric, but once that was behind me the quilt turned out great. To soften all the angles I quilted it with buzzing flower pattern in variegated blue.

Sarah's Owl Quilt
Sarah brought me this lovely original owl themed quilt. I was very pressed for time, so we decided to go with all over 3 leaf pattern and white thread for top and the bottom. At the end all of the owls made it:)
Steve's Quilt
Another "care" quilt made for Steve. It was conceived, pieced, quilted and bound in one day. Probably some kind of record for me. I call it "burning man". Greens and bright yellow have a very dramatic effect. All over meandering in green was chosen for the quilting pattern. I loved how it turned out.
Lisa's Quilt
Last year was busy with creating "care" quilts. This one was made pretty much overnight for Lisa. Top is the combination of nine patch and solid white. I found very pretty pink jelly roll and it looked very cheerful at the end. I lined the quilt with the flannel to make it extra cozy. I chose buzzing bees design in variegated pink.
